Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 May 2026 · This policy explains how CFS Ireland uses cookies on cfs-ireland.com.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. Some are essential to make the site work; others are optional and used for analytics.
Our cookie approach
We use a default-deny consent model. Analytics and tracking cookies are blocked until you click Accept all on the banner at the bottom of the page. Necessary cookies (those required for the site to function and remember your consent choice) are always on.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| cfs_cookie_consent | Remembers your accept/reject choice so we don't show the banner again. | 180 days | Necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes unique visitors. Only set if you accept. | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_HT007WFWG7 | Google Analytics 4 session state. Only set if you accept. | 2 years | Analytics |
Third-party services
When you accept cookies, the following third-party services may run on this site:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised traffic measurement. Data is processed by Google in the EU. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Tag Manager — loads the analytics tag. No tracking happens through GTM itself.
How to change your choice
To revoke consent after accepting, clear the cfs_cookie_consent entry in your browser's site data for cfs-ireland.com, then reload — the banner will reappear and you can choose again. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely under Settings › Privacy.
